Give Floyd a Home for the Holidays

Floyd came to the shelter with another dog that he lived with for much of his life. They were turned in because their owner was moving and was unable to take the dogs. Sadly for Floyd someone came to the shelter and adopted his partner leaving Floyd alone and without his best buddy. The volunteers are looking to find him a roommate, but wouldn’t it be nice if he were in his own warm home for the holidays instead of living on the concrete floors of the shelter?

Floyd is a 5-year-old purebred miniature Poodle. He is small, weighing less than 25 pounds. He is neutered and is up to date on his shots.

•He walks well on leash.

•He is house trained.

Floyd came in with two foxtails lodged in his right ear. A private vet removed them and he is recovered from his injury. The only after effect is a slight head tilt which is lessening every day.

The injury did not stop him from being an energetic, frisky dog. He loves to play with toys. He doesn’t even need anyone's assistance, He just throws the toys around on his own and then goes and fetches them.

Can you make a holiday wish come true by adopting Floyd? He will be a wonderful addition to a family with or without kids or pets.

To adopt Floyd request A4574467. The Agoura Shelter is at 29525 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills. Occasionally pets have already been adopted. To check availability, call 818-991-0071 or visit http://animalcare.lacounty.gov
