Sunday in the Park With Chefs

The 31st annual Picnic des Chefs brings in hundreds of gourmet food lovers from all over the region.

Hundreds of gourmet food and wine lovers converged upon Vasa Park on Sunday  to enjoy meals prepared by over 40 of L.A.’s top chefs for the 31st annual , hosted by Club Culinaire of French Cuisine. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Concern Foundation and the Hope Program at Children's Hospital LA.

While adults sampled wines and international gourmet delicacies like artichoke fricasse and poached salmon, children enjoyed a plethora of chaperoned activities on the private premises, located off Kanan Rd. in the Santa Monica Mountains.

This is the first time in almost a decade that the event has been held in Agoura, and according to Kora Kroep, Executive Director of Club Culinaire of French Cuisine, it's here to stay. "Look at this beautiful setting," she said, gesturing toward the mountains. "This couldn't get much better, and we love Agoura Hills."
