LA County Gas Prices Continue to Drop

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Monday for the 17th consecutive day, falling seven-tenths of a cent to $4.007, its lowest amount since June 13.

Here in Agoura Hills, the cheapest gas is beating the average slightly. According to GasBuddy.com, it's available for $3.93 per gallon at Alliance at 5226 Palo Comado Cyn Rd. You can fill up for $3.99 per gallon at the following stations: USA Gasoline at 5000 Kanan Rd, 76 at 28203 Dorothy Dr. and Shell at 5116 Chesebro Rd.

The average price in the county is 6 cents less than one week ago and 3.2 cents lower than one month ago but 12.7 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has decreased 11.3 cents over the past 17 days, including eight-tenths of a cent on both Saturday and Sunday.
