Fine Artist Kathi Colman resides in historic Old Agoura, California.  The serenity of her hilltop studio is a perfect setting as she creates her award-winning portraits, landscapes, and sculptures.

Her very unique portrayal of her deep thoughts on "Liberty's Innocence" -in response to 9/11- has garnered accolades from government officials, veterans, firemen, and NYC residents.  (Fine art reproductions of "Liberty's Innocence"hang in the Beverly Hills Library, Hollywoods Firefighters Museum, fire stations and libraries -as well as in the private office of the President of University of New York's Queens College.)  The 9/11 Commission on Capitol Hill praised this beautiful national portrait Kathi presented to them in 2004.

Kathi contributes her time and talent in support of charitable causes, such as "ChildrenWithDiabetes"; for "Autism Speaks" she sensitively depicted an autistic child's dilemma. She has raised funds for medical research for leading Southern California community hopitals.

The wide appeal of her art was proven by the honor of being chosen one of the select few L.A. female artists whose work was showcased on an Emmy-winning daily NBC-TV show for a full season.

She has recently embraced pastel landscape painting.  Her proud commitment to the signature group, Pastel Society of the Gold Coast/a chapter of International Association of Pastel Societies, has her currently involved in the promotion and preservation of our California wilderness and wildlife.
