Jamie Hansen, Neighbor

I'm excited to write for Patch as I pursue a graduate degree in journalism at Stanford. I've interned, edited and freelanced for a variety of magazines and print newspapers, and Patch strikes me as an exciting next step -- a viable way to tell community stories as many print newspapers are disappearing. I'm looking forward to getting better acquainted with the University and the larger community through reporting. Science writing is one of my main passions and I hope to cover many of Stanford's innovations as they unfold.
