Relay for Life Paints Agoura High Purple
On-campus festivities include purple face paint and hair spray, henna tattoos, and ribbon dancing.
Agoura High School prepared for its first Relay for Life by dressing up in purple and decorating the campus in Mardi Gras beads all week long. Feb. 7 through 12 was deemed "Paint Campus Purple Week" at the high school.
Relay For Life raises money for the American Cancer Society and those who have been affected by cancer. This year, the 14-overnight event will take place on May 21 at Agoura High.
Festivities began on Wednesday with face painting. On Thursday, team members and ribbon dancers were on hand with henna tattoos and purple hair spray. The week will culminate on Friday with an all-purple assembly.
