Nestled between the rolling hills of the Santa Monica Mountains, dotted with oak and sycamore trees, the 3.3-mile Palo Comado Canyon trail provides a cool escape. The easy hike, which begins off Sunnycrest Drive, leads into the heart of Bob Hope Ranch—land that was once slated for use as an 18-hole golf course, but now remains untouched for local hikers. With summer in full bloom, remember to head out early.
