Update: Willow Elementary Teacher Back Home With Elbow Fracture

After being rushed to Los Robles Hospital after a fall, Sandi Pope is recovering at home.

Update: Sandi Pope, Willow's fifth grade teacher, is back home following a fall at Willow Elementary Thursday morning.

"She is home and doing very well, with only a fracture above her elbow," Principal Jessica Kiernan wrote in an email.

Pope apparently fell in front of the administration office and couldn't get up, according to Rosemary Lowry, office manager.

The staff called the paramedics who took her to Los Robles Hospital.

Pope is due to retire at the end of the school year.
