The Las Virgenes Unified School District was officially unified in 1963, a topic of discussion on the agenda for Tuesday night's Board of Education meeting.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of LVUSD, and "provides a great opportunity to both celebrate our past and bring focus to our future," Superintendent Dan Stepenosky writes in a district memo.
The staff will discuss initial steps taken and seek input from the Board as to how it would like to approach the landmark event.
