School District Releases Performing Art Centers Video [Video]

The Las Virgenes Unified School District has released a video detailing the grand opening of the Agoura and Calabasas High Schools performing arts centers.

 

The Las Virgenes Unified School District has just released a video introducing the grand opening of two state-of-the-art performing arts centers at local high schools.

In the video, Superintendent Dan Stepenosky talks about "LVUSD Festival of the Arts: A Grand Opening Celebration the Festival," which will feature 17 student performances and educational programs in the new Performing Arts Education Centers at Agoura and Calabasas High Schools on January 25 and 26, 2013.

Starting with full-length performances by music and theatre students in the Mainstage Theatres on Friday night, the festival will go on to include a variety of performances at both locations, featuring middle and high school music and vocal ensembles, dance and theatre students, Comedy Sportz teams, an acting Masterclass and a TedX seminar. 

The festivities will end with full-length, marquee performances on Saturday night in the Mainstage Theatres.
