Superintendent Dan Stepenosky introduced 's new assistant principal, Scott Foli, to the Board of Education at Tuesday night's Las Virgenes Unified School District meeting.
Foli comes to the district from Reseda High School replacing Matt Baldwin, who has accepted a position in Northern California. Foley was chosen out of 75 applicants for the position, according to Larry Misel, Agoura High's principal.
"He brings with him great credentials," Misel later told Agoura Hills Patch. "He's very articulate, well liked and had great recommendations. I think he'll be a good fit for the amazing administration already established at the school."
Foli, a Simi Valley resident, is a graduate of Cal State Northridge who received his teaching credentials at National University. Among his credentials, Foley has been an athletic director, department chair and sporting coach.
"I'm very excited," Foli said to the board. "And I look forward to a great year."
