LVUSD to Hold Fundraiser for Performing Arts Programs
The school district is hosting a screening of "Despicable Me 2," followed by a talk with the movie's writers and some of its actors.
The Las Virgenes Unified School District will hold a fundraiser for the performing arts programs of all its schools on Jan. 25 at the Performing Arts Center in Agoura High School.
Parents and children are invited for a screening of "Despicable Me 2," starting at 2:30 p.m. After the screening, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, the film's writers, Dana Galer, voice of Edith, and Elsie Fisher, voice of Agnes, will answer audience's questions.
The LVUSD elementary school students will perform songs at the event and Agoura High School culinary students will bring treats for everyone.
At 7 p.m., everyone is invited to see Paul's new comedy, musical "Bubble Boy."
