"The Art of Networking and Developing an Effective Elevator Speech"

"The Art of Networking and Developing an Effective Elevator Speech"
Presented By Sarah Shirazi Reznick, Edward Jones       Surveys show that personal connections are a primary source of hires, but today's job seekers devote little time to their networks. Only 9% of their job search is spent contacting friends, relatives and other connections to find work, while 51% is devoted to finding ads and sending out applications. It has also been reported that you have 6 seconds to make an impression. This meeting will equip you with the tools you need for networking and to develop an effective elevator speech.   Sarah Shirazi Reznick leads a networking group at the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and teaches a regular Lunch and Learn Art of Networking program at the Chamber.
