The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only® CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.

Mr. Ran was born and raised in Kibbutz Ein-Dor, Israel. During his service in the Israeli Defense Forces he served as a Commissioned Officer in a Special Operations Unit of the Military Police. After finishing his service, he returned to the kibbutz and worked as the Social Director and later on as the Operations Manager of the local High School, often focusing on counseling and guiding troubled teens from dysfunctional families. In year 2000 Mr. Ran became an emissary for the State of Israel, working as Community Youth Director in the Jewish Community in San Diego.
Nine years ago Mr. Ran made the career shift into Executive Protection.

Since then Mr. Ran has been trained, and became a certified instructor, in multiple security and related disciplines, including CPR, First Aid and Emergency Preparedness.

From Hezi Sheli: As a CPR certified martial arts instructor and a parent, I decided to bring a specialist to share with us simple techniques of CPR to save a life.
For us it's a non profit course, the BIG profit is you guys having the knowledge and the ability to help your kids in case of an emergency.
I personally know that saving a life is a great feeling. A few years ago using the simple technique of Heimlich (part of CPR skills) I helped a lady in a restaurant who was choking.

As an added bonus, our student Doug Trinidad (a fireman/paramedic-who saves lives on a daily basis) has volunteered to come and share his experience as part of the course.
