Cookbook author Joan Nathan at Barnes & Noble Thousand Oaks

Acclaimed cookbook author Joan Nathan will sign her latest book Quiches, Kugels, and Couscous: My Search for Jewish Cooking in France on Tuesday, December 13 at 5 PM at Barnes & Noble Thousand Oaks in the Westlake Promenade.

Joan Nathan is the preeminent authority on Jewish cooking in America. Her cookbooks have won numerous awards, including the prestigious James Beard Award and the IACP/ Julia Child Cookbook of the Year Award.  Nathan herself is an inductee into the James Beard Foundation’s Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America. Her other books include Jewish Cooking in America, The New American Cooking, Joan Nathan’s Jewish Holiday Cookbook, and The Children’s Jewish Holiday Kitchen.  

Nathan’s appearance at Barnes & Noble is in support of the Ilan Ramon Day School Bookfair at the store on December 13.
