For those interested in sitting on the Las Virgenes Unified School District Board of Education, the time for candidacy filing is now through August 9th.
At the June 25th school board meeting, Lesli Stein, current board president, announced that she will seek a second term; however, board members Dave Moorman and Gordon Whitehead said they will not seek re-election.
Three seats are up for the November general election.
