An independent, young girl Willow Johnson leaves Malibu for the beautiful High Country of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in order to find her father Jack Thomas to potentially create a loving relationship with him. As Jack and Willow struggle to know and understand each other, the young girl meets Bravo, a wild but gifted mustang she instantly makes a connection with. But when Bravo is being threatened to be taken by rival ranchers, Willow and Jack are forced to work together to save the horse and become a family.
