If You're 50+, Agoura Hills Wants to Hear From You

The city wants to know how to best program activities for the more mature crowd at the new recreation center.

The city of Agoura Hills is conducting an "active aging adult survey" to understand the needs of those in the community who are age 50 years and older as it plans for the needs of its residents and the future home of the Agoura Hills Recreation Center, according to an email from the city.

The new rec center, located on Ladyface Court just up the street from City Hall, is scheduled to be completed by December 2014, according to the city.

If you're 50 or older, the city would love to get your insight as to what would draw you to the center.

"We are encouraging the residents of the city and surrounding areas age 50+ to complete this survey, and we appreciate their time. Their insight will be critical in providing the necessary offerings to meet the needs expressed in the survey." said Amy Brink, director of Community Services.
