Senator Pavley Hosts 'Senior Scam Stopper' Seminar

State Senator Fran Pavley is hosting a special seminar for senior citizens to bring awareness to the different ways criminal’s target seniors and how to avoid those scams.

Since 1999, legislators have hosted and participated in the Contractor’s State License Board’s Senior Scam Stopper program to help educate seniors about how to make informed choices when engaging in activities such as home improvement projects and how to avoid becoming a victim of people trying to take advantage of them.

What: Senator Fran Pavley hosts “Senior Scam Stopper” Seminar to inform the audience about the types of scams that are targeting seniors and how to avoid falling prey to those scams.
