Parents at Agoura High School can take part in a series of talks about issues that teens face.
The free talks will be held the first Wednesday of every month, starting at 7 p.m. at Agoura Hills High School in Room A-1, according to organizers.
The first talk, "High School for Newbies -- It's Party Time," is set for Oct. 2 and is meant for freshmen.
The next talk, "Cyber Education," is set for Nov. 6 and will feature Lori Getz, a cyber education specialist. The Dec. 4 talk is called "Parties! They are a Reality," followed by the Jan. 8 student panel “What I Wish I Knew Back Then.”
The Sept. 4 talk, “High School for Dummies,” was canceled.
