Westlake Hotel Guests Report Shooting at Hyatt

911 calls started streaming in at around 2:30 this morning, according to reports.

Shots were reportedly fired early Thursday at the Westlake Hyatt Hotel, the Ventura County Star reported.

Calls from guests started streaming in at around 2:30 a.m., the Star quoted authorities as saying. Police set up a perimeter.

The hotel was temporarily locked down, but guests were allowed to leave by 7 a.m., the paper said.

The hotel is reportedly open for business once again.
