A thief stole $30 by drilling a coin box at Shell car was in Agoura Hills earlier this week.
The theft was reported at 7:30 p.m. March 10 at the Shell Gas Station at 5134 Kanan Road, according to Sgt. Phil Brooks of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lost Hills/Malibu Station.
The thief drilled out a coin box, causing $2,000 in damage, and taking the $30 that was inside, Brooks said.
Investigators were reviewing video surveillance.
