3 Arrested in Home Burglary

Deputies reportedly nab three men in theft of bicycle from Agoura Hills garage.

Three suspects were arrested Wednesday following the burglary of a home in the 4000 block of Patrick Henry Drive in Agoura Hills in which a bicycle was taken, according to a report issued by the .

According to the report, Francisco Javier Mejia, 23, Jose Luis Rosales, 28, and Ronald Franklin Colorado, 41, were booked at the station on suspicion of burglary.

The victim of the crime reportedly observed the suspects drive past his home in a gray Mazda truck on Wednesday afternoon, the report said. He noticed the truck make a U-turn and stop across the street from his home, then watched as the suspects ran into his garage, stole his bicycle and drove away, the report said.

The victim called 911 to report the theft, and a short time later, a detective spotted the three suspects driving eastbound on the 101 Freeway near Lost Hills Road, the report said.

The detective followed the suspects, and when backup units arrived, a traffic stop was initiated, the report said. Deputies took the suspects into custody without incident and the bicycle was recovered, the report said.
