Police Blotter: Thieves and Vandals
A car is broken into and another is vandalized, plus a sound system is stolen from a locked garage.
A home burglary, car vandalism and a car burglary are the focal points of this edition of the police blotter.
Stolen car lock
Someone stole a key lock off of a locked car at a home on Canwood St. near Forest Cover Park between 4 p.m. on June 17 and 6 a.m. on June 18, according to a police report. The lock, reported to be worth $300, was punched out of the door on the driver’s side. The unknown person also ransacked the interior of the car, according to the report.

Silencing the Music
A mixing board sound system, reported to be worth $1200, was stolen from a home’s garage on Mulholland Highway at 1 p.m. on June 18, according to a police report. The report said the garage lock was pried open and a glass window was shattered. Police arrested and booked two suspects.

Choice Words
A car parked at the was vandalized sometime between 10:10 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. on June 19. The words, “You Suck,” were keyed onto the driver’s side door. According to the report, there are no suspects as of yet.
