Police Blotter

Suspicious circumstances, grand theft and vandalism were reported last week.

Here are just a few stand-out incidents compiled by the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station that have occurred within the last week.

Gold Digger

A Prada briefcase and Mercedez Benz duffel bag, along with $7,700, were among the items stolen from the back of an Agoura man's loaned Land Rover on May 23. The total estimated cost was $11,930.

The victim's U.S. Green Card, Chase debit and credit cards, and a 14-inch HP laptop were also taken from the trunk of his vehicle, which was parked outside the Liberty Canyon residence of the victim's girlfriend.

Here's the kicker--the victim, who was arrested for domestic battery on May 17, has deduced that she stole these items from his car before it was towed by the Land Rover dealership.

Citizen Sieve

A red 2001 Honda motorcycle was soundlessly stolen from a Cedarhaven Drive home's attached garage on Thursday, May 20.

The victim had reportedly left the garage door open on the eve of the crime and did not wake a wink when his $500 vehicle, allegedly parked toward the front of the garage, was rolled out at approximately 8:30 p.m.

A Bad Student

Someone on the Agoura High School campus last Friday, May 21, stole $450 worth of electronics from a student's locker in the Physical Education building.

A 9-month old iPhone ($150) and iPod Touch ($300) were taken from the locker between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.

The student's locker had been left unlocked.

The Vindictive Vandal

A two-and-a-half-foot wide rip was torn in the vinyl window of a 1997 Jeep Wrangler on May 20 at 9 p.m. The damage was $90.

The victim discovered the tear the next morning.
