Mother of Mitrice Richardson Files Second Lawsuit
Latice Sutton has filed a second lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department,
The mother of Mitrice Richardson—whose body was found in Malibu Canyon nearly a year after she went missing after leaving the following an arrest at Geoffrey’s Malibu—has filed a second lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, according to City News Service.
The suit alleges sheriff’s deputies improperly moved Richardson’s body from the site where it was found. Latice Sutton and her ex-husband, Michael Richardson, last year filed separate suits (which have since been consolidated into one) alleging the department mishandled their daughter’s arrest and release.
Sutton is asking for unspecified damages, alleging negligence and both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, said CNS.
