What if we live in an unincorporated area (Mountain View) of Martinez?

@Don..I dont know how much crime you see in your area, but pro active is the best defense. Have your property well lit, have a high density video camera installed, (costs about $100.00 at Frys ) and get to know the people and cars around your area. Try to have meetings with neighbors, and get to know one another.

People started this before this incident from other crime in their neighborhoods. And someone robbing Pacifica Pizza at knife point then running into their neighborhood. I don't think there is anything sissy about wanting to protect your area from up to no gooders. Neighborhood watches help a lot.

@OlinStilwell: Martinez has always been a nice litlle community, it isnt the city thats bad, its the PEOPLE in it that make it so. You mention that you have grown up, really?? I dont know any grown men who call others who have been victimized " sissys". Maybe it would be more productive if you would offer to help make this community a better safer place to live, then reminiece about what you have done to others while growing up.
