Kanan-Dume Road Back Open
A portion of the road was closed following the fatal traffic collision Wednesday afternoon.
Kanan-Dume Road was fully re-opened Thursday afternoon at about 1:45 p.m., according to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station. The road had been closed from Pacific Coast Highway to Latigo Canyon Road, and later from Cavalleri Road to Latigo due to .
The truck hit a utility pole, and power lines were scattered throughout the area. A new pole had to be installed, and the power lines had to be put up by workers from the various utility companies.
