Firefighters Honor Fallen Colleague on Freeway Overpasses

Over 40 fire engine companies throughout Los Angeles County were positioned atop freeway overpasses Saturday to salute the homecoming of Sean Misner, one of the 19 firefighters who lost their lives June 30th in Prescott, Arizona.
Misner's pregnant wife, who was driving the remains of her husband home to Santa Ynez, was escorted by CHP officials, said Keith Mora, Inspector for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The convoy travelled from the Arizona border along the 10 Freeway to the 210 to the 134 to the 101 north, Mora said.

"The agencies along with local citizens were out to show their support," Mora said.
