Dead Man Found at Malibu's Rindge Dam Identified as Being From Agoura Hills

The body, found Tuesday evening, was recovered Wednesday morning, according to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.

A 21-year-old man who apparently jumped to his death off the roughly 100-foot Rindge Dam on Malibu Creek was from Agoura Hills, authorities said Wednesday.

A Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedic reached the body Tuesday
night and confirmed the person was dead, sheriff's Lt. James Royal said.   

The man was identified as college student Joshua A. Feinberg, 21, by , which cited information from the coroner's office.

Another young person was rescued off a ledge about 5 p.m. Tuesday,
according to Royal. It was not clear if the the rescue and the death were
related.

The dam across the creek, about three miles inland from Pacific Coast
Highway, was originally built with railroad ties from the short line that ran
through the canyon when the property was owned by the Rindge farming family.
