Armed Robbery Under Investigation in Agoura

The victim told investigators the suspect held a knife to his neck and said "Gimme your money or I'll kill you."

A robber held a knife to the throat of a man in an Agoura parking lot and stole $480 in cash earlier this month.

The armed robbery was reported at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 16 on Roadside Drive near Cheseboro Road in Agoura Hills, according to investigators at the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff's Station.

The victim was sitting in his Toyota Tundra truck with the door open when a man with a bandanna over his face walked up with a four-inch knife.

The suspect told the victim “Do the right thing” and “Gimme your money or I’ll kill you!” according to investigators.

The victim, fearing for his safety, handed over his wallet, which had four $100 bills and $80 in cash.

The suspect got into a gold colored vehicle with a male driver and left the area.

 The investigation is ongoing.
