UPDATED: Abducted 3-Year-Old Girl Found, Amber Alert Cancelled

A 3-year-old girl who was abducted in Fresno County on Sunday night, triggering a statewide Amber Alert, was found safe this morning by the county sheriff's department.
  
Tanya Ruiz is alive and is being evaluated by doctors, according to Lt. Rick Ko of the Fresno County Sheriff's Department.
  
Her family is with her, Ko said. Tanya was the subject of an Amber Alert after she was taken from the city of Huron at approximately 7:45 p.m. Sunday.

Sheriff's deputies found her at 8:12 a.m. today in a Huron field, Ko said.
  
Police are still searching for Tanya's suspected abductor, who was described as a Hispanic man around 30 years old with long hair and was last seen wearing a red shirt and red hat.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-year-old girl abducted in Fresno County on Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol

Tanya Ruiz was taken from the city of Huron around 7:45 p.m., CHP officials said. She is described as Hispanic girl standing about 3 feet tall and weighing 33 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. 

She was last seen wearing a brown shirt with flowers, blue jean shorts and white sandals, according to the CHP. 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man around 30 years old with long hair. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and red hat, CHP officials said.
