Agoura Hills Man Arrested for Allegedly Selling Illegal Drugs to Ventura County Residents

An Agoura Hills man was arrested by Ventura County Sheriff officials Thursday for allegedly selling illegal narcotics to local residents.

Following a month long investigation, detectives with the narcotics unit picked up Robert James Heitz, 45, after he left his residence on the 6300 block of Germania Court, authorities said.

According to a report, detectives seized two ounces of heroin, three ounces of marijuana, a half ounce of cocaine and a half ounce of methamphetamine.

A small marijuana grow was also discovered inside the residence, the report said.

Additionally, detectives seized "a significant amount of currency they determined to be proceeds from illegal drugs sales," the report said. 

Heitz was booked into Ventura County jail on charges of heroin sales as well as possession of heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana intended for sale, the report said.

Heitz’s bail is pending review at $250,000.00 He is scheduled to appear in Ventura County Superior Court for arraignment on June 17 at 1:30 PM.
