Agoura Hills Bank Robbed, Suspect Flees on Foot

A white male reportedly enters the Chase Bank on Kanan Road just before 6 p.m. Thursday, officials report.


The Chase Bank on Kanan Road was reportedly robbed Thursday evening, according to officials. 

No injuries were reported.

Witnesses say a white male with a shaved head, wearing a mask entered the bank shortly before 6 p.m., said Sgt. Nagelmann of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.

Nagelmann said he had a "simulated" or concealed weapon. The amount of money taken was not disclosed.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot.

Don't the banks have silent alarm buttons to the police so they can alert them to a robbery, & perhaps be cruising close enough so they could catch the robber?
