The Ventura County Sheriff's Office took three people into custody Sunday who they believed to have been involved in a theft at a Kohl's in Moorpark, the Ventura County Star reports.
Deputies responded to a report that a vehicle matching the suspects' was spotted at Kanan Road and the 101 freeway, said the Star.
When deputies tried to stop the vehicle, the driver exited at the Kanan offramp and stopped on Liberty Canyon Road, said the report. A man and woman were seen fleeing the car on foot, the report said.
Following a search near Liberty and Canwood Street, three people were apprehended, said the star.
Charges are pending.
