2 Children Among 10 Injured in Multi-Car Crash on 101 Freeway in Woodland Hills

The accident reportedly occurs near Valley Circle Boulevard shortly after 1 p.m.

Two children were ejected from a vehicle and injured Saturday in a crash, that injured a total of 10 people on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Woodland Hills, a city fire official said.

The crash was reported at 1:07 p.m. on the eastbound 101 at Valley Circle Boulevard, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Four adults and six children were injured in the crash, Humphrey said, including two children who were ejected from a vehicle.

Only one eastbound lane was open one hour after the wreck was reported, and the cause of the crash was under investigation. The condition of the victims is unknown at this time.

WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Six children and four adults were transported to area hospitals Saturday following a multi-vehicle crash in Woodland Hills. A SigAlert was issued following the 1:07 p.m. accident on the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway at Fallbrook Avenue.

I need an update on this story. I was first on scene right when it happened. To see children lying there and not moving was more than I could handle. I need to know that they are alright.

My husband and I need to know those children are alright! We saw them too, it's been eating us alive!
