Scenario: Your house is on the market, and has been sitting there for over a month. You are beginning to worry that no one will ever want your home, and you begin to feel trapped in a house you do not want anymore.
Why is your house not selling? You run the many reasons off in your mind. Is it the location, the market, the price, the curb-appeal? Some of you might even blame your Realtor.
So on Wednesday at noon when your Realtor calls you and says there is an offer coming in on your house, you are extremely excited. You wait with anticipation to find out how much they have offered (you have imagined this moment many, many times over the past month), but when the offer finally arrives it is substantially lower than what you wanted it to be. This is not at all the way you had imagined it.
How should you handle this?
