How Do You Handle Bullying?

It may not be a new issue, but it is certainly an enduring one: bullying.

Cruel taunting and shoves between classmates have managed to follow victims onto social media, like Facebook, and text messages as a form of cyberbullying.

Not too long ago, Patch investigated this difficult issue and to see how the Agoura community and schools deal with the problem

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama also filmed a Facebook video to raise awareness about the topic. The video can be viewed on the StopBullying.gov Facebook page. 

As summer approaches and schools begin to let out, kids and parents have an opportunity to step away from the school setting–to take a break to reflect on our own kids' experiences and behaviors–and to figure out how to handle potential problems in the fall.
