As the spring cleaning season approaches, we’re getting busy tidying up making sure we pass the white glove test. But how clean is our emotional house?

In the book, The Nine Rooms of Happiness, life is depicted as rooms that can get a little messy; for example, the attic (heritage/legacy), office (career/money), kitchen (nourishment), kids’ room (parenting), and family room (loved ones).

The moral of the story reveals some coping mechanisms of self-destructive behaviors that allow us to zero in on rooms that are untidy and distract us from other spaces that may be clutter free.
