Early Fall Rain Doesn't Slow Down City

Wednesday's continuous, heavy rainfall doesn't seem to deter those running errands or shopping in Agoura Hills.

Wednesday's rain didn't seem to slow down the citizens of Agoura Hills. In fact, some of them even liked it.

"I love the rain," said Nick Newkirk, city recreation supervisor, as he was picking his daughter up from . "I don't like driving in it, because no one else knows how to, but, yeah, I love it. Fireplaces, hot chocolate—what could be better?"

Shoppers continued to run errands, as evidenced by the photos taken at the parking lot.

The National Weather Service predicted the rain would continue throughout the day, bringing a high temperature of 67 degrees and winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour. A 30 percent chance for showers was forecast for Wednesday night.

There's a 30 percent chance of rain on Thursday, the service reported.
