Blog: The Dole Great Race Runners Appreciate Community Support

Every year we receive positive feedback from the Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills participants. They just love seeing volunteers and community members along the routes, cheering them on. All this support helps with their endurance and gives them tremendous joy.

With runners going through parts of Oak Park, Fountainwood and Old Agoura, we encourage residents along the routes to grab your morning coffees and bagels, walk outside your front doors and cheer the runners on! Many will be your neighbors and friends! Thousands will be from out of the area. Let’s show them all two of the many reasons why we love living here – good old-fashioned friendliness and hospitality!

Residents along the race routes have received a notice in the mail regarding road closures (locations and timing). If you haven’t, please find them in the attached PDF.

After the runners pass you by, join us at Chumash Park for the best post-race Expo in the Los Angeles area!

We’ll have 10,000 people in the area on March 23rd who will raise over  $100,00 for local schools and help generate over $1.3 million dollars for busineses in the Greater Conejo Valley.
