Ride On Fabulous Fall Fundraiser

Fabulous Fall Fundraiser

Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship will be holding a fabulous fall fundraiser on Saturday September 24th at the historic home of the late Charlie Chaplin in Hidden Valley. This year’s event will be hosted by honorary chairs Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi and Olympic gold medalist Will Simpson and his wife Nicole along with Mary Tesoro and Anke Magnussen. The event will feature exciting equine demonstrations including a thrilling high jump competition, a musical freestyle dressage demonstration and our very own Ride On students. We will also be launching the Brandes coffee table book which features beautiful portraits of many local equestrians including Will Simpson who will be signing books at the event. The event will be catered by Boccaccio’s and there will be an exciting live auction with great items including a Napa Wine Tour and an adorable Labrador puppy!

Ride On teaches therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with physical and mental disabilities at two locations in Chatsworth and Newbury Park.  Therapeutic riding combines instruction in traditional horsemanship skills with concepts of physical therapy which improve the strength, balance and self esteem of individuals with disabilities.  In the past 17 years Ride On has grown to become one of the largest therapeutic riding centers in the country serving 170 disabled riders on a weekly basis.
