Charity Book Drive to Support Families Affected by Cancer

The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura is collecting new and used books for an upcoming Book Sale to raise funds for its free programs of support and education for people with cancer and their families in the community.

New and gently used books can be dropped off at The Oaks Shopping Center in the vacant store on the first floor between Banana Republic and Marciano, near the Johnny Rockets mall entrance.  Drop off times are Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Thursdays, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., beginning June 21.  Donors will receive receipts for tax deduction.  To arrange for donation of a large load of books, please call (805) 379-4777 to schedule a time.
