Thank you email from MSGT Marvin Cofield
Message: "Wow,
That is pretty much al we can say! WOW! Your generosity, love and support is so evident and pronounced that we can't believe how much we have received from you guys. It's like christmas time all over again. It never gets old when a lletter or package arrives for us. It just warms the heart to see that someone took the time to want to get in touch with one of us. The items in the care packages are fantastic and exactly what we could use. Everyone has been so appreciative and truly thank each and every one of you guys that have contributed to supporting us then please tell us and let us know because words alone don't truly convey what it means to us to be remembered and supported from people back at home.
We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! We thank you for who you are and what you stand for. We pray that many blessings are showered over each and everyone of you and that that spirit of selflessness, humility, and love will continue to shine brightly and touches many more people's lives throughout the world.
Stay well, be blesses, and live long and prosperously.
Sincerely,
Your friends in uniform"  ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Requested items of the week:  Our cupboards are almost bare.  If you can help us, please check our Troops Wish List on our website, www.ForTheTroops.org.  We can use almost anything on our list.  Especially needed items are granola bars, beef jerky, Pop-tarts, small hard candies, toothbrushes and women's personal care products.

We have just received a request from a K9 unit that handles 100 dogs, young and seasoned- We could use doggie treats, bones, tennis balls in good condition, etc.

Also, if you would like to volunteer with our boothing events, where we pass out our Troops Wish List to customers entering the grocery stores, please, please, email Jackie Truger, JackieTruger@yahoo.com, or call her at (805) 990-1381.  We have several boothing opportunties and they are for 2 hour shifts.  Please help us with this.  We need to fill up our cupboards so we can fill up our We Care packages and ship them to our War Fighters.  That's what we are all about!  Please contact Jackie if you can help!   Thank you.

Thank you all for your generous support on behalf of our military!  Your support is desperately needed and greatly appreciated!  Last month our postage for shipping our We Care packages was over $25,500.00 for one month!  As you know we are an ALL VOLUNTEER nonprofit.  If you can help us, please we need your support.  Everything helps!    To date, we have shipped off over 87,009 boxes!  Help us get to 100,000 boxes!

Thank you for your loyal support!
