'Psycho' Under the Stars with Marilyn Stefano at Reyes Adobe

The Agoura Hills Cultural Arts Council is presenting a special movie experience at the Reyes Adobe with the screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s “Psycho” under the stars on Saturday, July 13.

The 1960 thriller was adapted to the screen by Agoura Hills resident Joseph Stefano, who died in 2006. His version of the 1959 novel Psycho by Robert Bloch is ranked among the greatest films of all time.

Stefano’s wife, Marilyn, who was on the set during the filming, will be guest speaker and discuss her husband’s relationship with Hitchcock and the behind-the-scene stories.

The talk begins at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at dusk. Admission is free; event donations are being taken to support the Reyes Adobe Historical Site.

Seating is limited and patrons should bring their own chair or blanket. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling 818-597-7361.

The Reyes Adobe Historical Site is located at 5464 Reyes Adobe Rd. in Agoura Hills.
