Keyboard Concepts to Host New West Symphony ‘Come to the               Cabaret’  Event in its Agoura Hills Store July 28

–Benefit performance is part of New West Symphony League’s ‘Pleasure of Your Company’ series and will feature singer Sydney Weisman and pianist Greg Schreiner–

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – Keyboard Concepts, a leading piano retailer with several locations throughout Southern California, will host New West Symphony’s “Come to the Cabaret” program, featuring singer Sydney Weisman and pianist Greg Schreiner, at its Agoura Hills store on Sunday, July 28, between 1:30 and 4:00pm. The exclusive invitation only event, for an intimate audience of 50, is part of New West Symphony League’s seventh annual “Pleasure of Your Company” series that benefits New West Symphony. The hosts for this event are Dawn Demars, Keyboard Concepts Agoura Hills store manager, Karen and Paul Finkel and Carrie and Mark Levinson.

In addition to supplying the venue for the event, Keyboard Concepts is providing a Bösendorfer 280 concert grand piano for the performance. Bösendorfer is one of the world’s oldest piano manufacturers and is considered by many to be the very best piano builder worldwide.

Sydney Weisman grew up in Chicago and has studied singing, acting, dance and improvisational comedy. Her enticing combination of stories and song celebrate love, life and the joy of music in an intimate and entertaining manner. Called “Little Miss Broadway” by her peers, she has a great appreciation for the span of musical generations. Her fascination with all facets of music comes forth in her reverence and respect for the lyrics, sung with wit and wisdom.

Accompanying Sydney will be Greg Schreiner who is on the piano faculty at Santa Monica College and Cerritos College and performs extensively around southern California. He also has ties to the UCLA Symphony and performed at the opening ceremonies of the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.

“Keyboard Concepts prides itself on its standing in the cultural community of Southern California. We’re all to happy to support the New West Symphony, which shares our passion for excellence in the arts,” said Dawn Demars of Keyboard Concepts. “This very special afternoon features top flight talent and a Bösendorfer grand piano, one of the most exquisite and beautiful sounding instruments in the world.”

Before the performance, guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres amongst the store’s impressive stock of spectacular pianos – including an array of Yamaha hybrid, digital, silent, Disklavier reproducing, baby grand and grand models – before adjourning to the facility’s performance space.
