Bookfair and Signing to Benefit Agoura High School

Barnes & Noble Thousand Oaks will host a fundraising Bookfair for Agoura High School from Saturday, September 7 until Friday, September 13. During the Bookfair, a percentage of the sales of books, toys, games, gifts, CDs, DVDs and more to Agoura supporters will go to the school.

The Bookfair will kick off on Saturday, September 7 at 2 PM when Agoura Hills Mayor Denis Weber introduces a discussion and signing of the new book Images of America: Agoura Hills, California.  With plenty of archival photos and stories about hardy Agoura pioneers from the Chumash days to cityhood and beyond, the book is a must–read for anyone interested in the history of one of the most desirable places to live in Los Angeles County. The many photos, stories, and newspaper clippings featured in Images of America: Agoura Hills, California are sure to bring back memories! Agoura residents will also have an opportunity to meet Agoura High School’s new Principal, Brian Mercer, at the event.

Barnes & Noble Thousand Oaks is located in the Westlake Promenade shopping center, at the corner of Westlake Blvd. and Thousand Oaks Blvd. For further information about the Agoura High School Bookfair or the Images of America: Agoura Hills, California discussion, call the store at (805) 446-2820.
