Touring Historic Paramount Ranch: From Set to Silver Screen

Agoura enthusiast Andrew Cohen takes us on a National Park Service-run tour of the movie magic history within Paramount Ranch.

Last summer, adventurer Andrew Cohen explored a variety of fun tours and hikes throughout the hills of Agoura. This summer, enjoy the continuing adventures of our intrepid explorer.

Location: Head south down Kanan Rd., take your first left to Cornell Rd. is located on the right side.

Feature: Tour Paramount Ranch's historic western town set, which is rich with history that has turned the ranch into a national park.

Hike Type: The walk around the set is leisurely and flat. There are also many hikes within the park (maps available).

Special Features: Aside from Paramount Ranch's Western Town, visitors can view the last set left standing from filming days at the ranch.

Hours: 8 a.m. to sunset. Free parking and access.

Tips: Bring a camera, water bottle and your movie buff friends!
