SUV Tied to Gavin Smith Case Found

Detectives say the SUV is registered to a drug dealer whose wife allegedly had an affair with Smith.

Investigators on the case of missing 20th Century Fox executive Gavin Smith have discovered an SUV suspected of being connected to his disappearance, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The vehicle was seized Wednesday at a marijuana grow house in Granada Hills, the report said.

The gray SUV, which was impounded, is registered to John Creech, a suspected drug dealer whose wife allegedly had an affair with Smith and who was questioned about his disappearance, the report said.

"We believe that this truck, it's possible this truck, may have been involved, but we don't know yet," Los Angeles County Sheriff's homicide Detective Ty Labbe told reporters.
