3. Classic Car Show/Thousand Oaks

The first annual Cars at the Rock classic car show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Rock Community Church and Hillcrest Christian School, 384 Erbes Road, (corner of Erbes and Hillcrest), Thousand Oaks. Along with a variety of classic cars from pre-1980 and a special interest class, the show will boost a live DJ, vendor booths, face painting and more. 4. Free Summer Concert at Peter Strauss Ranch

The National Park Service is hosting a free summer concerts at featuring The Ranger Band from 3-5 p.m.

5. Shakespeare's 'The Comedy of Errors'

Local theatre company, Classics in the Park, presents this cherished work September 8 through 16, at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts (403 W Hillcrest Dr, Thousand Oaks). The show will be performed Saturday, September 15 at 8 p.m. and Sundays, September 9 and 16 at 2 p.m..
